We take an updated full digital x-ray set on all new patients for superior quality control purposes. Unreliable quality, resolution, age and completeness prohibit us from accepting dental x-rays from outside offices for new patients. An x-ray of your abdomen is 38x more radiation than a full set of dental x-rays. Modern digital dental radiography units produce extremely low amounts of radiation.
