Finances & Insurance Information

The patient’s financial responsibility is paid at the time of service unless arrangements have been made in advance.  For your convenience, we accept VISA, MasterCard and Discover.  We can send you payment links to your phone as well!

Our office is committed to helping you maximize your insurance benefits.  We will provide an estimate of your coverage; however, we cannot guarantee insurance coverage due to the variety and complexities of insurance contracts.

As a service to our patients, we will be happy to file your claims for you depending on your insurance carrier.  We accept many insurance companies, but we cannot accept Medicaid or DMO health insurances. Below is a list of common insurances, but we can work with any insurance that will work to provide you with benefits, in or out of network. If we do not cover an insurance company, it is usually because it limits our ability to maintain quality dentistry for the patient.

Most popular in-network insurances we accept are (list is not exhaustive):
United Concordia PPO (Advantage plus, Normal Fee for Service)
Aetna PPOMetlife PPO
Delta Dental PPO
Lincoln Financial PPO
United Healthcare PPO
Fidelio PPO
Guardian PPO
Ameritas PPO
LEHB
Principal PPO
Other PPO’s accepted may not be listed

VERY IMPORTANT: You must give us all insurance information related to your plan so we can work on checking your coverage, benefits, and other important information. This cannot be done within minutes, we need time to gather the appropriate information! If network/lowest cost dentistry is your priority – tell us that directly and when we have information for you we will review it!
Most common out-of-network insurances with out-of-network benefits are:
CIGNA PPO

Any insurance that goes through DENTEMAX (a third party administrator of insurance plans):
Blue Cross/Blue Shield, CIGNA (Dentemax), among others

SOME United Concordia plans such as Flex, Advantage
-please note some plans will send the patient the check payment and patient pays the doctor total fee.

Child Dental Services

We treat children as young as 6 years of age, depending on their level of comfort.  If we cannot provide for them, we will refer them to a local qualified specialist.

Help us help your child!  Children need to feel comfortable at a dental office.  You can help by preparing your child calmly for an office visit.  If you are fearful, your child will become fearful, and that inhibits us from giving dental care.  Please do not make promises or talk too much about what we will do for them until we assess your child’s condition.  Plan to have fun conversations and bring along things to distract them.  Your help can make all the difference in your child’s experience!

We are always willing to have a parent join a child in the operatory, but, from our experience, the child is more likely to maintain a peaceful temperament if the parent is willing to wait in the waiting room.

Preventive Services

Our dental professionals can help you take a more preventative approach to oral health.

Preventative – We are strong believers in doing everything possible to prevent major dental problems.  We encourage sealants for children, fluoride (varnish, gels, foam applications) for all patients, calcium (with fluoride – MI paste) treatments, periodontal maintenance tailored to your needs, and custom treatment for teeth grinding and/or clenching.  Let our hygiene team help you experience excellent oral health.

Special Services – Antibiotic therapy, deep cleanings, preventative services are available for interested and qualified patients.

Periodontal And Hygiene Services

Cleanings and Recall Appointments are designed to suit your needs.  Some people need 3-month cleanings for a period of time, and others 6-month cleaning.  We are committed to offering the best hygiene protocol that can help you overcome gum disease.

We use a strong Referral System network to utilize Periodontal Specialists for treating moderate to severe gum disease and to perform necessary gum-related surgeries.  Although we prefer to treat patients in our office, we willingly refer patients to a more specialized practice if needed.  Our highest priority is to make the best care available to our patients.

Restorative Services

White fillings – We provide composite fillings for front and back teeth in order to best suit cosmetic and restorative needs.  We no longer use silver (amalgam) fillings!

White porcelain inlays and onlays – These are the best functional and cosmetic materials available to fill teeth.

Prosthetic Services

Crowns/Caps – Some teeth can become so cracked, decayed or broken down that they need this type of full coverage to protect them.  Metal, porcelain-metal, or all porcelain is available.

Bridges – These can be used to replace missing teeth as well as to provide coverage for a tooth that is severely cracked, broken or decayed.

Partial Dentures – Sometimes it is more economical to replace several missing teeth by making a partial removable denture and keeping the remaining strong teeth in place.

Full Dentures – If you are missing most of your teeth, full dentures may be the best option to restore your chewing ability and your smile.

Veneer & Cosmetic Services

Bleaching – Evaluations and custom trays with take-home kits are available.

Veneers – Composite or porcelain facings are available for those patients desiring the best quality in cosmetics and restoration.

Tooth-Colored Fillings – After a consultation, you may decide to enhance your smile by removing old stained fillings and restoring them with today’s most sophisticated composite tooth-colored fillings.

Dental Implant Therapy

Single Tooth Implant – Titanium implants are available to replace a missing tooth.
Multiple Tooth Implants – For those who are missing multiple teeth, these titanium implants are a key component in full mouth rehabilitation.
Implant Supported Dentures – Implants are used to help prevent movement of dentures and stabilize the denture for a more long-term custom fit, better chewing and ultimately better nutrition.
